His son, Dave Holden senior, another icon of Seattle jazz and blues, hopes to take the stage as will his daughter, soulful vocalist Darelle Holden. She radiates soul after stints backing Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and for 19 years Tom Jones.Darelle Holden will be joined by Brian Monroney (guitar), Eric Verlinde (piano and keys), Osama Afifi (bass), and D’Vonne Lewis (drums). Bassist and vocalist Dave Holden Jr’s Grownfoux also appears, along with other family members. Dave Holden Jr’s ensemble will include Phyllis Talley (vocals), Jennifer Johnson (vocals), Quianna Holden (vocals), Scott Adams (saxophone), Paul Sowell (guitar), Rob Pastoric (keys) and Andrew Meltzer (drums).
