Join us for Youth Cosmic Jam Sessions, a series of weekly jam sessions designed to teach youth ages 13 to 18 the art of jazz, improvisation, and performance. Hosted by Seattle’s own Grammy Award-winning trumpet player, Owuor Arunga, these sessions provide young musicians, singers, and poets with the opportunity to collaborate with some of Seattle’s finest working jazz artists. Each week, participants will develop their skills through live improvisation and real-time performance experience. Sessions take place every Friday from 4 to 6:30 PM, starting October 11 through November 15. Don’t miss this chance to learn, perform, and jam at LANGSTON!
