Heru Coleman is a videographer, educator, and youth advocate whose work bridges creativity and empowerment. Inspired by witnessing his father’s work and the lasting impact it had on others, he began his own journey into videography in 2015. Growing up in the Bronx, NY, he developed a deep appreciation for storytelling and community resilience. He carried these lessons with him when he moved to Seattle in 2018.

Beyond the camera, Heru is committed to education and mentorship. He helps young people recognize their self-worth, challenge stereotypes, and build tools for mental health and self-empowerment. Through his artistry and his dedication to youth, Heru continues to create spaces where people honor stories, uplift others’ voices, and imagine new possibilities.
