Maurice, in the tradition of Dr. Maya Angelou, is dust, and like that speck, he too rises, carried by the wind. Originally from Germany, Maurice caught a drift across the Atlantic and through the US, stopping off in Louisiana, Hawaii, and Florida before following the winter winds to Seattle, where he completed his degree in film studies at the University of Washington. He currently bides his time catching up on an unending list of movies or playing music that’s ever so slightly too loud. Someday, he’d like to direct something – films, plays, what have you? For now, though, he’s busy being a wool gatherer, gathering strands of wool for a story to tell.
